Woman charged in deaths of two stranded motorists

FERRIS, TEXAS - A 23-year-old woman was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter after she allegedly struck and killed two stranded motorists with her car.

The deadly incident happened on Dec. 19 on Interstate 45 in Ferris, a city located about 20 miles south of downtown Dallas.

Authorities said Kaitlin Cheyenne Eagle struck two motorists who stopped their vehicle to change a flat tire. Police didn't reveal the identities of the victims.

Eagle was hospitalized and later booked into the Wayne McCollum Detention Center in Waxahachie with a bond set at $1,500,000.
