2 adults, child shot at Dallas gas station

DALLAS - Police are searching for a suspect after three people were injured by gunfire during a confrontation at a gas station early Thursday morning in Dallas.

Authorities were called to the scene at about 4:45 a.m. in the 10000 block of Harry Hines Boulevard.

According to police, the incident began when the suspect approached a vehicle at the gas station to talk to a woman. A confrontation ensued when a man, who had been inside the store paying for gas, came out and told the suspect to leave the woman alone.

The suspect then pulled out a gun and shot the man before he fled the scene in a tan Toyota Camry with front-end damage. The woman and a juvenile were also injured during the shooting. All three victims were treated at a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities haven't released a detailed description of the suspect.
