DALLAS -- Over the weekend, the Dallas Police Department’s Child Sex Trafficking Unit made three arrests on child prostitution charges.
According to police, on Friday, Minh Tan Pham, 39, was arrested after he contacted an undercover ad for prostitution and solicited a 15-year-old girl to perform a sex act for money. When Pham arrived to pick up the child, he was placed under arrest.
Pham was placed in Dallas County Jail and charged with prostitution of a child. He was held on a $2,500 bond.
The same day, Anthony Alicea, 50, was arrested after he also contacted an undercover prostitution ad and solicited a 15-year-old male and 16-year-old female to perform a sex act for money. When he arrived to pick up the minors, he, too, was arrested.
Alicia faces two felony counts of prostitution of a child and he was placed in the Dallas County Jail with a total bond of $200,000.
But the operation was not just targeting those who responded to the ads. Police also looked in to who was posting existing ads.
On Sunday, police say 18-year-old Gena Williams was arrested after posting an ad for prostitution and arranging a prostitution meeting involving herself and a 15-year-old female.
Williams was charged with one felony count of compelling the prostitution of a child and was placed in Dallas County Jail with a $5,000 bond.
