Three shot in Seagoville
SEAGOVILLE — Two men were shot Tuesday afternoon at a residence on Crosscreek Lane in Seagoville, and a third was shot at a nearby business on US 175, police said.
One person was dead at the Crosscreek Lane location, and a second shooting victim was being driven to a hospital when police stopped that car.
Seagoville police marked the area in front of two adjoining homes on Crosscreek Lane with crime scene tape. The Dallas County Sheriff's Department is assisting with the investigation.
No names were released, and no information was provided about what led up to the gunfire.
