CLEBURNE — Authorities in Johnson County say a second arrest has been made in a series of thefts that included stolen crosses.

The arrests came after a Joshua homeowner, Kevin Jones, released surveillance video that captured images of a woman taking items from his porch. In the video, the woman appears to be looking around for items of interest before leaving with several crosses and other items.

Authorities say two Cleburne women, 43-year-old Cathy Anne Silva and 26-year-old Iris Carroll, were arrested in the case. They said the pair were also involved in about 11 other crimes.

Johnson County Sheriff Bob Alford said they arrested Silva at her Cleburne home, where they found several crosses and other reported stolen items. Authorities arrested the other suspect in Dallas.

Silva is being held on a $10,000 bond at the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center.
