DALLAS - Two carjacking suspects were taken into custody after crashing a stolen vehicle into a utility pole and dentist's office and then leading police on a short foot pursuit, police said.

Police said they were first alerted to the carjacking when the victim, who suffered minor injuries during the carjacking, flagged down an officer at about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers spotted the stolen vehicle and became involved in a short pursuit with the suspects, who were in the car when it struck a utility pole and then crashed into a dentist's office at Singleton and Kingbridge boulevards.

The suspects fled the vehicle on foot and were apprehended by police a short time later.
