LEWISVILLE -- Big names have walked through her doors, including Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. But it was crooks that stole the show at Cathryn Sullivan's Acting For Film studio early Thursday morning.
"There was glass all over the place," Sullivan told us.
She was supposed to be recovering from surgery this week. Instead, she's at the Lewisville studio playing detective. However, tracing the steps of the thieves is easy, because the whole thing was captured by surveillance camera.
"It looks like they're wearing masks," Sullivan said.
After smashing their way in through a back room window, two masked figures sprinted by headshot-covered walls of the studio and straight into Cathryn's office.
"They just flipped the light switch on, as if they knew where it was," she said.
They took her computer and five cameras Cathryn uses for auditions. The equipment is worth about $15,000.
"There were some other items in there of value they could have taken," said Lewisville Police Capt. Jesse Hunter. "But they computers is all they took out."
Sullivan wonders if it's business sabotage because of the competitive nature of her industry.
"The police suggested it several times," she said.
But Friday, police simply said the investigation is ongoing.
"That's something to consider because of what type of business it is," Hunter said, "but we haven't gotten into that yet."
