FORT WORTH — A man was seriously injured early Saturday morning after his car was hit by a pickup truck going the wrong way on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth.

Police spokeswoman Sharron Neal said the driver of the Dodge pickup truck, identified as Joshua Crouch of Euless, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes near Las Vegas Trail when he plowed head-on into a red sedan shortly before 2 a.m.

Crouch, 26, was slightly hurt, but firefighters had to extricate the man in the other vehicle, Neal said. His name and condition were not available.

Crouch was checked out at a hospital and taken into custody for intoxication assault.
