DeSOTO — There was another white powder scare Monday in DeSoto, but this one was not at a school.

Someone in a doctor's office across from Chalrton Methodist Hospital found the envelope filled with white powder around noon.

DeSoto called for help from the Dallas Fire-Rescue hazardous materials team to investigate the discovery at 2727 Bolton Boone Road in a medical building.

No one was evacuated, and just like the handful of cases we told you about last week in North Texas, the powder found Monday turned out to be harmless corn starch.
