Tyler police are asking for help in finding a beauty shop owner wanted for allegedly performing an illegal breast augmentation.

A 26-year-old Longview woman is hospitalized in critical condition after she said she underwent the procedure one week ago in the back room of Queen Divas Hair Salon and Spa, 102 East Martin Luther King Street, in Tyler.

Investigators and physicians are still trying to determine what substance was injected into the victim's breasts.

Two arrest warrants have been issued for Carmel Mitchelle Foster-Alexander of Tyler, the owner of the salon. Police said they believe the 38-year-old woman is responsible for the illegal procedure.

According to investigators, Foster-Alexander is also believed to be responsible for a similar procedure on the hospitalized woman's 27-year-old cousin about two weeks ago.

Tyler police asked that anyone who has had any medical procedure performed on them by Carmel Foster in the past get in touch with Detective Andy Erbaugh at 903-531-1090.
