ARLINGTON — Arlington police are looking for suspects after deadly gunfire erupted at the Las Lomas apartments in the 800 block of Timberlake Drive around midnight Saturday.
"When officers arrived at the scene, they located three victims with gunshot wounds," said Arlington police spokesman Lt. Christopher Cook. "Unfortunately, one of those victims was pronounced dead at the scene in the apartment."
A second shooting victim, identified as 22-year-old Bryan Young of Grand Prairie. was taken to Medical Center of Arlington, where he later died.
The condition of the third victim, who was rushed to a Dallas hospital for treatment, was not available, and no other names were released.
Investigators were speaking with witnesses, neighbors, and family members trying to establish a timeline for the crime.
"We are looking at the actual possibility that the victims knew the shooter," Cook said, adding that no suspect or suspects had been identified.
"We were told there were a number of people inside the apartment, so we do have a lot of witnesses to interview," the police spokesman added.
Arlington police are asking anyone with information about the shootings to call them or Crime Stoppers at 817-459-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
