Murder suspect nabbed
SAN ANTONIO — Late Saturday night, police in San Antonio nabbed the third suspect wanted in connection with Tuesday's murder of a Fort Worth convenience store clerk.
Kwame Rockwell was tracked to a Church's Chicken at Broadway and Mulberry near Fort Sam Houston and ran when marshals confronted him.
Rockwell fled to a nearby convenience store and locked himself in before surrendering a few minutes later.
Rockwell will join Randy Seibel and Chance Smith, who were already in custody facing capital murder charges.
Surveillance video showed gunmen forcing clerk Daniel Rojas-Torres into a back office of the Valero convenience store on Mansfield Highway early Tuesday morning. He was shot and killed.
A delivery driver was hospitalized after being shot in the head during the robbery attempt.
