PLANO - The man accused of murdering fitness instructor Susan Loper last month is due in an Arizona courtroom today for an extradition hearing.
It's the first step in getting Terrance Black back to Collin County to face charges.
Black was hospitalized with serious injuries after he jumped into the Grand Canyon to avoid arrest. He was released to authorities last week.
Loper was reported missing from her job on April 19 at Gleneagles Country Club in Plano. Her body was found in a wooded area near the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco the following day.
Black was Loper's estranged boyfriend. Loper was the divorced mother of one child.
