Teen shot
DALLAS -- Police said a 17-year-old boy was shot and seriously wounded late Friday night at the Super 7 Inn at Interstate 30 and Jim Miller Road.
Police spokesman Senior Cpl. Gerardo Monreal said the circumstances surrounding the shooting were unclear. A large group of teens was seen running from the scene at 11:35 p.m.
The teen, identified in a police report as Tommy Barnes of Dallas, was shot in the head. He was in critical condition at Baylor University Medical Center Saturday morning, Monreal said.
