DALLAS -- Police have charged a teen with murder after a 2012 kidnapping in which he shot an innocent driver.
Anthony Hill is charged with the murder of Ryan Lusk, according to an affidavit.
On March 18, 2012, Hill and Horace Jones, Jr. kidnapped a woman at gunpoint in her car and forced her to drive through Dallas. When they were on Ellsworth Avenue, they saw Ryan Lusk and a woman sitting in his car.
The affidavit says Hill got out of the stolen Civic, walked up to Lusk's car and shot him. He was paralyzed from the waist down.
More than a year later, on Nov. 19, 2013, Lusk died from his injuries.
Jones confessed to police and told them Hill was responsible for shooting Lusk. The kidnapped woman also positively identified Hill in a lineup.
Hill's bail has been set at $500,000.
