DALLAS — A teenager who pushed a man in front of a DART train has been sentenced to 30 years for the crime.
Octavius Lanier, 19, was killed at MLK Station on November 22.
Prosecutors said the attack was the end of a day-long crime spree by four boys. A 14-year-old pleaded guilty to murder in exchange for the 30-year sentence.
He will be sent first to a youth facility; then could be moved to an adult prison or paroled after three years.
Three other juveniles are facing charges in this case.
