It's a trend headed in the wrong direction; after declining for years, murder in Dallas is on the rise again.
Four were killed last weekend alone, bringing the total to 141 killings this year.
But those are just stats.
We wanted to know how murder affects the people who live in a neighborhood where it happens too often. And that's why News 8's David Schechter went to south central Oak Cliff -- to sit down and listen to their stories.
