DALLAS -- Dallas police arrested two people after a shooting at an upscale apartment complex near the Dallas Farmers Market.

Just before 3 p.m. police were called to the 700 block of Farmers Market Way. There they found two residents on the fourth floor of the complex where the parking garage is located. They had both been shot.

Witness said the shooting appeared to be a robbery. But police said the shooting at Camden Farmers Market apartments was not a random crime.

“There are certain things that we’ve heard, based on some of the things that witnesses are telling us, that we believe is not just a happenstance, stranger-on-stranger crime,” said Lt. David Pughes, Dallas Police Department. “We believe that they do know each other in some form or fashion.”

The victims were rushed to Baylor Hospital with serious injuries.

No word on charges against the suspects in this case.
