ROWLETT — Rowlett police tonight are trying to determine the source of random gunfire.

Since June 2010, bullets have hit homes or people in the same area at least three times; that has residents concerned about safety.

One bullet hit a house around 7 p.m. Monday on Duchess Way. About a half-hour later, another bullet came through the roof of a home on Fair Oak Drive, landing on the floor of a bedroom.

No one was hurt in either case, but a man was hurt in that same area in 2010.

Michael Domin was shot in the back. He is suing a nearby gun range, but investigators were unable to figure out where that bullet came from.
