DALLAS — Dallas police said two people were found dead of gunshot wounds early Saturday at the Timberlodge apartments in Northeast Dallas.
Police spokeswoman Senior Cpl. Melinda Gutierrez confirmed the address of the crime scene at 11600 Audelia Road, and said officers responded to a shooting call at 5:36 a.m.
She said a 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were found dead in an apartment at the scene. Their names were not released.
Gutierrez said detectives were interviewing people in the vicinity of the shooting, including children. She said the children did not witness the offense and they will be staying with relatives.
No arrests have been made.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner's office told News 8 that they were investigating the deaths as a double homicide.
