PLANO - A search is under way for a missing Frisco mother who police say may have been abducted from the Gleneagles Country Club where she worked.

Tuesday, crime tape and officers blanketed the country club where Susan Loper has worked for 16 years. Authorities said there were signs of a struggle in the room in which the fitness instructor was holding a class.

Loper's purse and cell phone were left behind, but her 2010 Toyota Rav4 was missing from the parking lot.

"It had to be someone who was watching her, knew her routine and that's what makes it so frightening," said Janet Robertson, a friend.

Her friends say her disappearance is very strange. Loper has an 8-year-old special needs son.

"We hope that she hasn't been [abducted], and we pray that she comes home safe and she hasn't been harmed," Robertson said.

Her family told News 8 it was her last week of work at the county club. She was starting her own company.

Police are searching for the white RAV4 with texas plates BR4-C986.
