DALLAS — A 19-year-old man surrendered to Dallas police Wednesday night in connection with the shooting of a Woodrow Wilson High school student Tuesday afternoon.
Emilio Tovar walked in to police headquarters about 8:15 p.m. with his attorney Chris Lewis to give a statement to detectives.
Tovar faces an aggravated assault warrant.
Police suspect he shot and wounded a 16-year-old student at a park near the campus.
Tovar graduated from Woodrow Wilson two years ago, but said he did not pull the trigger; he claims friends on Facebook framed him.
