DALLAS — Police have made an arrest in the January 6 murder of a Dallas Sunday school teacher.

Roberta Moore, 60, was found dead in her Pleasant Grove apartment in the 9600 block of Scyene Road. She had been strangled, and her items were missing from her home.

Police on Tuesday announced that Michael J. Marble, 49, will be charged with capital murder in connection with the case.

After searching Marble's apartment in the same complex as his victim, investigators said they found items that had been stolen from Moore. In addition, forensic evidence was found that links Marble to Moore.

Marble was already in jail on a parole violation.
