No bond has been set for a Springtown-area woman who faces murder charges.
Roni Catherine Lisenbe, 33, was arrested late Friday night after she called 911 to report she had shot her 38-year-old boyfriend, Parker County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Deputy Danie Huffman said in a written statement.
Deputies found Lisenbe sitting on the front port of a house in the 3500 block of West Highway 199, about four miles west of Springtown. The victim was found inside the residence on the bedroom floor.
"The suspect told Sheriff's investigators a domestic dispute led to a physical altercation when Lisenbe retrieved a Glock 23 handgun and shot the victim in the abdomen," Huffman said.
The victim was pronounced dead at Harris Northwest Hospital in Azle. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office identified him as Richard Graves.
Huffman said Lisenbe is in the Parker County Jail and the case remains under investigation.
