Parker County Sheriff's investigators want to know if you have any information about the torture of a dog.
The female pug mix, now named "Hope," was picked up at a creek bed Monday evening severely hurt and frightened.
Animal control officers said someone had pulled her tongue out then used electrical tape to force her mouth shut. Hope also suffered cuts during the abuse.
She underwent surgery and is expected to survive if she's able to eat and drink without assistance.
