DPD confirms officer-involved shooting at Oak Cliff apartment complex

Police officers shot and killed a suspect in an Oak Cliff apartment complex Friday morning, said Deputy Chief Gil Garza. The officers approached a "suspicious" vehicle and "a struggle ensued." Fearing for his life, one officer shot a suspect, Lenny Ellis (pictured), 30, while the other fled, Garza said.
