DALLAS — A Dallas woman was arrested and charged with intoxication assault after a wrong-way crash on North Central Expressway Saturday night.

Dallas police Senior Cpl. Sherri Jeffrey said Hallie Jean Young, 36, was driving a blue Lexus northbound in the southbound lanes of the highway just past the Haskell Avenue exit when she collided with a silver Dodge Charger driven by Erica Davidson at 10:25 p.m.

Davidson was taken to Baylor University Medical Center with serious injuries.

After also being treated at Baylor, Young was jailed on a charge of intoxication assault. No bond has been set.
