GARLAND — Garland police released a very short statement Friday about the whereabouts of 40-year-old Carolyn Cordova, who was reported missing 11 days ago.
In two sentences, investigators wrapped up the case this way:
Garland Police located Carolyn Cordova this morning after releasing her information as a missing person. Carolyn is in good condition and has been gone on her on free will.
Cordova had not been heard from since August 8 after she left a bar with a friend. Police said her SUV was found two days later, but there were no signs of her, nor was there any indication of foul play.
Her family feared that Cordova had been harmed — especially after learning that her purse and other personal items had been left inside her car.
On Thursday, police released a sketch of a man who may have been connected with the case.
Police did not release any additional information on this case.
