Classes resume at McKinney High after evacuation

McKINNEY -- McKinney High School was evacuated Monday morning after a bomb threat as a precautionary measure, police said.

Students were moved to a secure location on campus while police search the school according to a Facebook post on McKinney ISD's official Facebook page at 10:53 a.m..

Student returned to classes by 11:45 a.m.

"Based upon the information received, [police] do not feel there is cause for immediate concern, however we always err on the side of caution," the post read.
