DALLAS – Dallas police found a man shot dead in his Oak Cliff area home Thursday night.
According to a police report, Edwardo Garcia, 24, was found by police in his home in the 1400 block of Strickland St. at about 9:50 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Police have not commented on the specifics in the case nor is there any narrative attached to the public document.
It does indicate that he died in the home as a result of gunshot wounds. Spokesman Lt. Paul Stokes said Garcia died of "apparent homicidal violence" and added that the investigation is ongoing.
