LEWISVILLE -- Police in Lewisville are looking for tips after two men attempted to abduct a 14-year-old girl.

On Wednesday, the girl was walking home from school at 4:35 p.m. in the 300 block of West Corporate Drive near Deer Run . She was approached by two men in a black, older-model car.

As the car passed, it slowed and the passenger asked the girl how old she was. She responded "too young for him," according to Lewisville Police Captain Jay Powell. The car drove away, but circled back and stopped.

The passenger got out and grabbed the girl by her backpack as the driver yelled at the passenger to get back in the car. He did, and the two left.

The girl described the passenger as a black man, about 50 years old, 5-foot-9, and thin. The driver was described as a black man who was about 30 years old. There were no further details about the driver. Both men had dreadlocks and beards, but no mustaches.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects is asked to contact the Lewisville Police Department tip line at 972.219.8477.
