GARLAND - Police are looking for a man that they believe exposed himself to a six-year-old girl in a Walmart parking lot on the night of February 13 at about 6:30 p.m.

The girl got separated from her mother while they were shopping at the Walmart in the 5300 block of North Garland Avenue at Bush Turnpike. The child went out to the parking lot to find her mother, when a man came up and asked the girl if she was lost.

The pair went between two cars, and while there, police believe the man exposed himself to the girl.

Shortly after, a female came up and asked if the girl was lost and escorted her back into the store, where she found her mother. Police are also trying to identify that woman, who they described as a Good Samaritan.

Police do not have any up-close pictures of the man who is believed to have exposed himself to the girl, but they do believe the suspect had been in the parking lot for some time trying to sell something to customers entering and leaving the store.

Anyone with more information is encouraged to call the Garland Police Department at 972-205-2082.
