Two North Texas teachers arrested for improper relationships with students

Garland ISD teacher- Garland police have arrested a North Garland High School teacher and coach for having an improper relationship with at least two students.

Christian Flores turned himself in to police on Wednesday. Once in custody he was charged with indecency with a child.

Police said the science teacher's female victims are under the age of 17.

There is concern that there may be more victims who have not yet come forward. Anyone with knowledge of an offense should contact Garland police immediately.

 


Former Irving ISD teacher - April St. John Alexander, 26, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with one count of having an improper relationship with a student.

Investigators report that the former teacher at MacArthur High School started a relationship with a 16-year-old for three months in late 2009.

Police said they were contacted about the relationship in March and found more evidence against the former teacher at that time.
