FORT WORTH — A Fort Worth police officer accused of driving drunk and killing a mother of two was formally charged on Wednesday.
Sonia Baker had just left her house to buy food for her children the night of December 11. She was hit by off-duty officer Jesus Cisneros just blocks away.
Baker died in the crash.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Tarrant County district attorney filed intoxication manslaughter charges against Cisneros, whose blood alcohol level was reportedly twice the legal limit.
