DALLAS - Ring of Honor inductee and former Dallas Cowboy Charles Haley has been accused of a Class C assault for allegedly slapping a Cowboys Stadium employee on the buttocks while he was at the stadium for the Thanksgiving Day game.
The victim said she found the contact inappropriate and was offended, and filed the charge with the Arlington police.
The alleged offense was witnessed by a third party that corroborated the victim's account.
The former defensive end now has a few days to respond to the citation.
Haley, who won five Super Bowls in his career with the Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers, was inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor earlier in November.
