ARLINGTON — Violence erupted at a house party in Arlington when an uninvited guest opened fire just before midnight Saturday.
One man was killed and no arrests have been made..
Neighbors told News 8 the party started in the backyard of a home in the 6300 block of Brookcrest Drive.
Investigators scoured the neighborhood all day Sunday looking for shell casings and other evidence.
The homeowners said an "uninvited guest" was shot. The man in his 20s was taken to an Arlington hospital where he died early Sunday morning. His identity was not released.
Neighbor Alan Clingan told News 8 he knew that the party was getting a little out of control just before midnight. "All of a sudden I hear four muffled shots," he said.
Arlington police interviewed dozens of older teens who were at the party. Neighbors said at one point it looked like at least 100 people were at the home.
