DALLAS - Former Dallas Cowboys Deion Sanders faces sanctions for allegedly violating a gag order in his divorce case.

If a judge determines he violated the gag order he could sanction Sanders with a fine or up to 180 days in jail.

Sanders appeared on Good Morning America and talked about the divorce with Robin Roberts. Pilar Sanders attorneys said Deion violated the gag order and are going to ask the judge to take action.

The couple has been embroiled in a public battle after Deion filed for divorce in December. Both Pilar and Deion have been cited for assault in an argument that took places at the couple's mansion in Prosper last week.
