DALLAS - The driver of the Little T's Tiny Tots day care van who left a three-year-old boy in the vehicle for more than two hours in the vehicle in triple-digit heat last week has been arrested, police said Thursday night.
The driver, who has not been identified, will be charged with Injury to a Child (Reckless), a felony, according to a police spokesperson.
Police said Benjamin Price was left in a parked van at the center's Buckner Boulevard parking lot for at least two hours following a field trip earlier in the day. Temperatures outside topped 100 degrees. The medical examiner said Price likely died of extreme heat.
More information will be released Friday.
