DALLAS — A suspected drunk driver is facing charges tonight after nearly running over a Dallas Fire-Rescue paramedic.
Dallas police arrested 27-year-old Ernesto Rodriguez on Saturday night. Firefighters found him passed out in his car in Pleasant Grove.
They took away his keys, but according to a police report, Rodriguez still managed to drive off and nearly hit a paramedic.
Rodriguez later crashed his car into another vehicle, injuring its driver, police said.
Rodriguez faces charges including aggravated assault against a public servant and driving while intoxicated.
