Dallas police release sketch of suspect in attempted sexual assaults

Police released a composite sketch Tuesday of the suspect in two attempted sexual assaults in the last month. Both attempted assaults occurred in the 9200 block of Flickering Shadow Drive as the victims were walking their dogs in the early morning hours.

DALLAS -- Police released a composite sketch Tuesday of the suspect in two attempted sexual assaults in the last month.

Both attempted assaults occurred in the 9200 block of Flickering Shadow Drive as the victims were walking their dogs in the early morning hours. In each case, an unknown individual approached the victim and engaged them in conversation before attempting to sexually assault them.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his early- to mid-20s, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8, 160 pounds, with a stocky build, a round face, and dark curly or wavy hair.

The first offense occurred on May 20, 2013 at approximately 6:45 a.m. and the suspect was wearing gray pants, a white T-shirt, and a dark-colored black beanie-style ski cap.

The second offense occurred on June 4, 2013 at approximately 7:00 a.m. and the suspect was wearing a black T-shirt, shorts with an unknown design, and a dark-colored black beanie-style ski cap.
