Dallas police issue $5,000 reward for arrest of teen's killer

DALLAS –– The Dallas Police Department on Tuesday issued a $5,000 reward for information that leads investigators to whoever and shot and killed a teenager in southeast Dallas Saturday night. 

Samuel Brightmon Black, 16, was walking with another teen at about 11:15 p.m. in the 7300 block of Shepps Pkwy. near the Woodland Springs Park when he was shot. The other teen ran and escaped the shooter. Bightmon died at a nearby hospital. 

Police have not named a suspect.
