DALLAS - A Dallas Independent School District high school was placed on lockdown and authorities called to the scene after a teacher received a threatening letter containing an unknown white substance.

Emergency vehicles could be seen outside Sunset High School, located in the 2100 block of West Jefferson Boulevard, in the early afternoon. Hazmat was called to the scene, which determined the substance to be harmless corn starch.
