DALLAS -- Inside the store Today's Vision on Illinois Avenue in Dallas, a robber was thwarted by a brave store owner.

Guadalupe Gonzalez and her employees became suspicious when a customer came into the store and started asking lots of questions while picking up many pairs of glasses. He turned away towards the door and tried to stuff several pairs into his shirt.

Meanwhile, Gonzalez picked up a stun gun and walked to the door to lock him in. The suspect fought with her, trying to get out of the door.

Gonzalez’ husband called 911 and began to push the suspect away from his wife, but they wouldn't need the police.

With the suspect backed up, Mrs. Gonzalez used the stun gun and sent the would-be robber to the floor in pain.

He stood up and ran towards the back of the store, then back towards the front. He once again rushed towards the door, but ran into a human blockade in the form of a security guard.

Dallas police took the unidentified man to jail.
