DALLAS — One person died in a shooting early Monday morning in an East Oak Cliff neighborhood.
Authorities found the victim dead inside the home in the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue around 3:30 a.m.
Police identified the victim as 19-year-old Valentin Valencia.
Investigators charged Byron Fuller Jr. with murder. Bail was set at $100,000.
Police said they investigated a second shooting incident just before 3 a.m. in the 2800 block of Alaka Avenue. In that case, 18-year-old Byron Fuller was wounded and taken to Dallas Methodist Medical Center for treatment.
