JOHNSON COUNTY — Johnson County authorities have arrested Rosalyn Burdett, 40, and Jay Thomas Morgan, 49, in connection with a child pornography case.

"It's bad,” said Lt. Tim Jones with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office “We have investigators with 25 to 35 years of experience, and it's probably the worst one any of them has ever seen."

At the center of this disturbing case is Burdett, who police say works for the government as a supervisor; and Morgan, who is employed in engineering.

Both are accused of aggravated sexual assault of children.

According to police, an out-of-state tip led them to Burdett's rural Johnson County home on Monday, where they found child pornography.

Police said Burdett not only confessed to sexually assaulting a child, but also gave them information about Jay Thomas Morgan.

On Tuesday afternoon, investigators were at his Arlington home in the 900 block of Simi Street. After serving a search warrant, investigators reported finding sexually explicit images of children.

Morgan was arrested at his job, located on South Cooper Street in Arlington.

"I can tell you let your imagination go as deep as you could think and it would be 100 million times worse than you ever thought of,” Lt. Jones said when asked about what deputies discovered.

Two of the victims — a seven-year-old boy and a nine-year-old girl are now in protective custody.
