DALLAS - Two men are in custody in connection to the stabbing death of 50-year-old Shearl Bennett.
William Langrum, 28, has been charged with capital murder and Jeremy Francis, 18, was charged with aggravated robbery.
Sources tell News 8 Dallas police interviewed the men last week. Bennett was stabbed multiple times as she came home from church last Wednesday night.
Bennett's purse was not found at the crime scene. News 8 previously reported Dallas police were investigating whether the Bennett case was connected to the fatal stabbing of Martin Coronado, who was killed six days before Bennett was found dead.
Police offered a $5,000 Crime Stoppers reward for information in the case.
