GRAPEVINE — Grapevine police are trying to determine whether two people arrested there Monday night are connected to a recent rash of fuel tank vandals.
The pair were inside a vehicle resembling one that was linked to a case in Keller Sunday night where a hole was drilled in the tank.
When Grapevine police pulled over the suspects' vehicle, they jumped out and ran, but were caught following a foot chase.
Officers photographed evidence inside the car, but aren't saying what that evidence is — or how it might connect the pair to the crimes.
At least five Ford F-150 pickup trucks were targeted by gas tank vandals on Saturday night.
