ARLINGTON — A 15-year-old girl who was seen on video being slammed to the ground by an Arlington police officer has pleaded not guilty to fighting in public.

Kelsey Perry and four others were arrested as police tried to break up several fights outside a dance hall last month.

Arlington police are investigating the actions of Officer Dylan Eckstrom in dealing with Kelsey.

News 8 looked into Officer Eckstrom's background. Since 2008, he has five other incidents listed on record. One of the allegations involved a "use of force" complaint similar to this recent case.

A woman arrested for public intoxication accused the officer of throwing her to the ground face-first on the pavement. Internal affairs investigated this complaint, but it cleared the officer of wrongdoing.
