HOUSTON – A police chase through west Houston streets ended Wednesday when the suspects were captured after driving through a cemetery.
Police began chasing the suspects after a bank robbery at an Amegy Bank in the 1500 block of Eldridge Parkway just after noon.
The suspects were armed with semi-automatic handguns, but no one was hurt, according to the FBI.
Police cornered them after they drove into the Forest Park West Cemetery and ran over some tombstones. At least five tombstones were damaged.
