WICHITA FALLS, Texas (AP) — Police aren't saying much about a woman who was found dead in rural North Texas nearly three years after she was reported missing.
Authorities in Wichita Falls continue to investigate the death of Danielle Hill Alvarado, whose body was found last week. Wichita Falls police now consider the 27-year-old Alvarado's death to be a homicide.
Police Chief Manuel Borrego tells the Wichita Falls Times Record News (http://bit.ly/POoRF9 ) that he can't say how Alvarado was injured or may have died. He also declined to name any suspects.
Alvarado's body was found in a shallow grave near a park in a remote area. It has been exhumed and sent to the Tarrant County medical examiner in Fort Worth.
